Does anyone know if you can share your Samsung Calendar with someone? Aim is to share my calendar with someone which we can both view and update at the same time.

But I think I have just found a way.

Go to your calendar app. Click the three lines at the top and scroll to the very bottom.

Click the manage calendars button at the bottom and then in the samsung account section there is a 'create shared calendar option'.

I think if you create this, then it will ask you to invite others to the shared calendar.

P.s. I havent tried this so give it a go. Also I am not sure if it works with other ecosystems like apple etc. So maybe you can try it and feedback how you get on afterwards?

I could be wrong... but I have a similar use case to share with my girlfriend.

I did a bit of googling a couple of years ago for a solution. The one I came with was to add our Google accounts to the samsung calendar app. That way we can see each other's shared Google calendars.

In terms of the samsung account I did not find a solution.

When I create an entry to my calendar, if it is personal to just me then I add it to samsung account and my girlfriend doesnt see these.

If it is intended to be shared with my better half then I add it as a Google entry. She can then see this as we share with each other through Google calendar.

It works for us.

Thanks for the above. I already have my Google account attached to my Samsung Calendar but I couldn't figure out how to create a shared Calendar on Google. Do you know how to do this?

Thanks for the help

Easiest done with Google account on a PC. Go to the Google account and open the calendar on screen.

You can then go to 'other calendars' and subscribe to your friends... and vice versa.

Note: that I cannot amend her calendar and she cannot with mine. But we share with each other so we can both see them in our own devices.

I think as subscribing to someone else's calendar it only gives read access.

Worked like a charm.

Can also edit eachothers calendar entries but also got the option to restrict this to view only.

I'm having this same issue but even after creating a shared calendar we are not able to see each other's entries.
