Recovering files from old phone A3 to A41

Hi

About a month ago I lost my A3 a much loved and reliable phone. I bought an A41 to replace it but haven't been able to recover the files from it, particularly Notes as I did when I transferred from an A4 mini to the A3. These Notes are very important to me as I am a writer and a lot of valuable work is potentially lost. Contacts came over as did my Apps so I can't understand why Notes didn't

Notes only get backed up in your Samsung account. If you backed them up see https://www.samsung.com/za/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-restore-samsung-notes-from-an-old-device-...

If not backed up, they are gone.
