The Beta program has started in the UK today.

It's available for unlocked phones only. So if you don't see the link to join, then your phone may not be eligible.

From experience of other Beta programs.
If its your main phone, I wouldn't advise joining.
Banking Apps and other Apps similar sometimes don't work.
So be prepared for some minor bugs and App software issues.

There's always some that join a Beta testing like this expecting everything to work perfectly. Sometimes it does
Other times not.

Do you have an unlocked device or is it part of a network contract (and tied to network)? Beta is only for unlocked devices

I'm not precisely sure because I bought it used, it said it was unlocked when i bought it and i can use any sim in it, but I have the service provider software version "EUX/O2U" in settings so I'm assuming it was locked :/.

Yep, O2 Carrier firmware so it won't be picked up as eligible to take part in Beta.

Oh I see, so it's completely impossible for me to get beta and I'll need to wait for stable? Thanks for the info btw

Running Beta on S22+. My apps for Halifax, First Direct, Virgin Money & Nutmeg all work fine, including accepting Biometrics for login. Google Wallet also opens without throwing a security error (which Google Pay always did under Beta). Not tried an NFC transaction yet though.

I'd say no it wouldn't be eligible for Beta. Beta is limited to 'true' unlocked handsets only; ie: those sourced direct from Samsung, factory unlocked devices & running generic, non carrier firmware.

Under Service Provider Software for your handset then the CSC code (3 digits at the end) is H3G which is 'Hutchinson 3G' aka '3', so your Firmware is carrier specific. It will be a case of waiting until the official A.13 rollout begins (most likely to be mid / late October) and it's pushed out through carriers - the timescale for that is down to the carriers.
