older Spen in Onenote and Excel

Hi, I am using an older Note (4) and finding a strange problem when using the SPen in Onenote and also Excel/Word. I need to collaborate and mark up documents so Onenote is ideal. However the SPen is not working well, it's dragging the lines whilst you write so you can't see the stroke until you lift the pen off the screen -difficult to explain so I've attached a video. The pen does not do this in other drawing/writing apps and my Note 9 and newer SPen works fine with Onenote etc. Any help would be appreciated as we use 3 different note 4's and they are all behaving in the same way.
