NFC not working correctly in S22 Ultra

I use Google pay in my phone, it's setup as the only NFC payment option, but when I go to actually use it, I'd much rather use my debit card as it would be much quicker and hassle free vs using my phone. I use to own a note9 and it worked excellent. If anyone can help with what could be causing this please feel free to shed some light. Please and thanks 🙏

My google pay works fine on the 22 ultra

You need to find the sweet spot. The S21 Ultra was much easier than this S22 Ultra as the top of the phone was the NFC area. I use Google pay and it is about halfway down I find it works every time.

Return for a refund, if it doesn't work samsung will only offer a repair
