Heyo, kinda spotted something with the badges here that I thought some of you might find interesting.
So, on my profile it counts the number of posts, replies, likes and solved issues.
If I were to reply on a thread, and that reply gets 10 likes. If that thread gets deleted, those 10 likes disappear from my account. Makes sense so far, if the comment is gone the likes are gone.
Here's where it gets a bit interesting. Say I get 40 more likes. I'd get the 50 like badge. Now how did that happen?
Deleted posts and comments remove the number from your profile, but they never fully go away. So deleted content still counts towards account stats, just only for badges.
Have a nice long string of replies on a topic and the creator deletes the topic? Your likes and replies still count towards badge progress.
Meaningless for the majority of people but hey I think it's interesting. Spotted as the more I'm active, the more my badges and account numbers slowly desync from threads created by others being deleted.
This also stops working after you hit 1000 of the thing as 1000 is the highest badge level.
