If not anywhere there it may have moved. Try searching "downloads"

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/remote-service/
See if the "tutor" can help you find it.
Looking online a factory reset seems to be the only solution- which isnt ideal

But they just disappeared so now everything seems in a mess and takes ages for me to find where things are going
Had the same problem. Made an account on here just to help you.
Step 1. Go to your my files app.
Step 2. Click the three dots in the top right corner and click settings
Step 3. On the My Files settings menu go to the bottom where it says about my files then click that.
Step 4. Click the lower case i with a circle around it on the top right corner
Step 5. This will take you to the app info screen of my files(if you know how to get here the regular way disregard steps 1-4)
Step 6. Go to Storage
Step 7. Click clear data and clear cache
Step 8. Enjoy finding your files now you can see your internal storage again!!
This was a few weeks of annoyance for me till I found this fix. When I came here tonight and was looking at this post it reminded me of my irritation, and let me know I wasn't crazy, and it wasn't just something I did to make it dissappear. This post made me confident I didn't do anything. So I just tried a few more tricks till I found this one. Hope this helps! Ill do a second post with just pics if it lets me.
