Hello Samsung,
We have a serious issue on a S22 Ultra. There is no way to reset the password of the Samsung Secure Folder. We tried to wipe cache, wipe app data, restart the phone, entering many passwords but all we got is locked screen with "try again in 4 hours" message. The Samsung account that is related to this phone and this folder is connected. When we try to access the params of the Secure Folder we have the same locked screen that tells us to wait many hours and retry.
As I have seen on the net this issue is well known here, could you please provide us some good support to resolve this please ? We have very important information in this folder, and as a part of the security principles, integrity of data and accessebility should be here.
Thank you !

Thank you but I think that your are wrong, we got 2 identical phones, same software versions, but mine have the reset option and not my wife's. We are pretty sure that the password is correct, it is a real problem with this app.

Hello, I think you just copy paste the "standard" samsung troubleshooting, like I said in my topic, I got no "reset password" option, and I cannot access to Secure Folder settings if I dont have the password !
Thank you

@Members_mxy4IXF I'm sorry to see that the helpful troubleshooting steps suggested by @Moiramon did not resolve your issue.
When setting up a Secure Folder, you are prompted to choose the lock type you would like to use. When selecting your lock type, there is also an option called "Reset with Samsung account", which will allow you to reset your password in the event of it being forgotten.
If you are not being presented with the means to reset your password, then this option was not selected. As this is a security and privacy feature there is no way to bypass this, so it will not be possible to access any files contained within your Secure Folder.
In order to use the Secure Folder again in the future, you would need to delete the one you currently have, which would also delete all of the files and data that has been stored in there. To do this, enter your password incorrectly 20 times, then go to Settings > Samsung account > Sign out > Secure Folder > Create delete option.
We have an online guide that takes you through the set-up process, and some more information regarding the Secure Folder, that you may find helpful.
I understand this is not the news you will have wished to hear, and I sincerely hope it does not cause you any inconvenience.

Hello, I forgot the password of the secure folder but there is no forgot password section to reset the password. My previous two logins to Secure Folder used my fingerprint and PIN, and I logged in successfully both times. I still remember my PIN and fingerprint to log in, but I forgot my password. Is there any way to log in to Secure Folder using the other two methods?
