How do you get Android Auto to work in car

My s22 won't link to Android Auto. Any help

My A52s 5g only connects by USB wire in my Ford which I expected not sure about the s22, can sometime depend on the cars infotainment system

If you head into Settings > Advanced features > Android Auto, you'll be able to connect your phone to your car.
