How can I save my data with a faulty charging port

I have a faulty charging port and am being supplied with a new phone since phone is still under warranty BUT...... I have to give in my old phone to get the new one.

How do I download all my phone data to put it on new phone remembering I can't use a USB cable due to faulty charging port.

I am charging phone with a wireless charging pad

I am not very technically minded - I have always used a USB cable to back up data but can't since charging port broken 

Can I backup to google and /or samsung withoput using a USB cable?

Found it - does this mean I can just go into my samsung account on a new phone and download all the data?

any apps not installed from playstore may need jotting down..so you can reinstall but this should do the trick..
