When I click on edit video a green screen appears and I am unable to view the video and also unable to edit it. Once I go back to just view the video then it appears fine. But unable to edit it.

Before you proceed to try and solve any issues with you gallery i would make sure all your photos and videos are backed up and safe. Just for peace of mind.

This could be a gallery app issue.

After your backup. My first suggestion is to go into settings>apps>gallery>storage and clear the cache for the Gallery App. Then, see if that has solved the issue.

I would avoid clearing the App storage as you may lose something you need that isn't backed up, and this is a system app

If that didn't solve the issue, I would now go into the members' app and report an error to Samsung and get expert help. This will avoid you messing up your phone and losing important content.

Exactly... I'm having the same issue while trying to edit on the Gallery app and Studio app. 10bit HDR video are also washed out on edit mode in Google photo

I'm having exactly the same issue. And it's not just gallery and Studio I'm having trouble with. Any video or movie editing app has trouble with my videos. They're either really glitchy, or the colour is very washed out.

I've just realised it only affects video that has been shot on the s24!  Older videos that have been restored from older phone to this phone and footage from social media or friends  work fine...!  I reckon it's a camera issue...

Ahhhhh!!!  I've solved the problem!!! Open camera, go to settings and press reset (scroll to the buttom).  Finally fixed - phew!!

Unfortunately it won't help the videos you already have but if you can send them to a different device  or message them to your own FB messenger,  then download them back to your S24 you'll be able to edit them fine.

So proud of myself for figuring this out lol!!

Reset did not solve issue. The issue is probably in HDR video content which is green. When HDR video record is off, video is showing in edit mode. When HDR is on, video in edit mode is green.
