Google Messaging not working on Ultra 24

I was told at the Tmobil store that there's an issue with the Samsung 25 ultra phones not allowing people to txt properly. When i was in there another guy came in with the same issue. When are you going to get this fixed? This is a huge inconvenience. I swore by Samsung but this is making me second guess if I'm going to continue using Samsung. ETA on the next update to fix this is appreciated. Thanks.

This is the first time I've seen someone mention this issue. I use an s25 and have no issue at all. Do texts just not send or is there an error? Do calls work?


Edit might have misread s24 as s25 but suggestion still stands

You recieve all txts, I just can't send txts to multiple people, my husband being one of them. They said it's an ultra 24 issue with txting and Google messaging.  I can make calls to everyone. Just not txt at least 10 people I txt on a regular basis.

Open google messages, circle icon top right, messages settings, rcs chats. What does the top option say? As in, does it say anything other than status: connected

Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling it? You seem to be in the US and have reached to the UK form. If your still having issues then consider sending in a error report via the members app.

I have. I did not realize this was a UK site. I just saw that it was samsung on my Google search. Perhaps it's just an issue in the US? I will definitely take your advice and send an error report. Thank you!

No worries. I'm not sure myself since its different down there. But have you checked if there is any issues with T-Mobile like any outgoing issues or something. Worth double checking if there is anything that is causing issues

If the issue is with Google Messages then you need to reach out to Google.

Are you based on the US by the way? If so you may wish to reach out to the US Forum.

I use Google messages with no issues on S25 Ultra

I know that previous issues were reported but seemed to be confined to  us providers after switching messages  https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s25-series/samsung-s25-ultra-rcs-messages-unable-to-recei...

An idea to clear the cache of the Messaging app/reinstall and  try reinserting sim.   However issue appears to be related to RCS. You may also wish to Reset the Network connections, General Management-Reset,can Reset all settings or just the mobile Network settings.
