Hi! I'm having so many issues with messaging and I don't know what else to do. I have Verizon and had a Samsung Note 20. I upgraded to the Samsung S25 Ultra on Thursday 2/27. Since upgrading, I have been unable to receive texts that come in a group text (I think I'm getting all individual messages, but cannot know for sure). I went back to the VZW store and they told me all configurations on my phone and network are correct and to reach out to Google. When I tried chat, Google told me they have no one to support those features. I try to create a new text group, it tells me it's creating a new RCS group, and then it tells me I have been removed from said group.

I have no idea what else to do. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

Hello @Emily31 👋

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum section for UK and Ireland users.

It might be beneficial to also submit a post in your own section of the forum for a more detailed appropriate answer. Also perform a forum search there too please.

I remember there being news that RCS was being discontinued from the Samsung Messaging app.

This is from the US section of the Samsung Community Forum > https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Apps-and-Services/Verizon-no-longer-supports-RCS-in-Sams...

This may then be the reason why Google Messaging was the only option pre downloaded onto the Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ series of phone's.

Looks like some in the US have had issues with Google Messahing RCS > https://support.google.com/messages/thread/299613121/rcs-messages-not-working-in-google-messages-any...

https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S21/RCS-Suddenly-Not-Working-After-Switching-Messages-App

A known troubleshooting step is to long hold on the app icon and then tap on i,  and then storage and clear cache.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎
