EDIT TO ADD: I have had a week with my new Samsung S25 Ultra. Still very disappointed with the new SPen. I find it less responsive than previous versions and feels very cheap on the hand.
I have been a dedicated Samsung Note user since the Notes were released and one of my most used S-Pen features was the bluetooth for photos! I'm so sad and disappointed to know this feature was removed from the newest S25 Ultra. I can't believe Samsung would take that away - one of the best features of the phone! Also, extremely frustrating that the previous S-Pens can't connect either.

OP mentioned she has been using this feature for a long time. Can you blame her if she expects it to be the same for S25U? Not everyone's keeping tabs on these changes in the news/social media. Not even Samsung announced it during their Unpacked Event. Which makes you wonder, how many more people like OP who's disappointed knowing this after they bought (or plan buying) it already, right?

Yes - thank you!
I *don't* keep tabs on all the tech updates. Also, when I went back to the Verizon store to deal with other issues I'm now having, not one person working there realized that feature had been removed.
It's also not called on when you compare on various phone models on the Samsung site.

Hello @Emily31 π
Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum section for UK and Ireland users.
I appreciate and understand your viewpoint on the removal of Bluetooth features from the sPen.
Samsung deemed that the feature was not used extensively so removed this.
There has also been quite a few threads on this in the forum, and if previous sPens would work which soon became evident that they unfortunately wouldn't.
I too have used Samsung Note phones and the s series that then took the place of the Note range.
Personally I haven't ever used the Bluetooth option however I appreciate some did.
There are other options to take remote photos such as verbal commands if that helps.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask π

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsungβs position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

If it's really that important for you (as it is for me as well), then skip it and hope for the best next year. Since I still have S23U, I deem it not worth upgrading (or downgrading) to the S25U just because of this feature removal. No amount of palm gestures or voice commands can really replace how we use and put value in the remote functionβnot even Samsung gets it, but us "few" users. Bummer, right? Anyway, I did pre-order the base S25 (for huge discount) since I am giving the compact form factor a try. Fortunately, the CPU is the same for all in this series.
