When I connect my bluetooth headset without a microphone build in, the phones microphone is not in hands free mode, but works as if you have the phone at your ear.
If I turn on “loudspeaker” during the call, the phone drops the bluetooth connection, but the speaker and microphone works ok in hands free mode.
When I press the bluetooth icon, the phone drops hands free mode, and connects the bluetooth headset.
In other words: I need to speak very closely to the microphone (as if I am eating the phone) or it will not pick up the speach, when I make phone call with my headset connected.
Is there a way to tell the phone it should use the microphone in hands free mode with my bluetooth headset connected?
Thank you in advance for any suggestions…..
And to Samsung:
This problem affects most users of hearing ***** from the major manufacturers (excluding only Phonak). You included the ASHA standard, and signal the interest to support hearing *****, but the above problem limits the use significantly!

Do not know why hearingaid became “hearing ****” in my post above…..

No, because it is not possible for audio to use both. The hardware does not allow 2 connections.

Hi,
Thank you for your comment.
I do not understand you mention two connections…..
I want a bluetooth audio stream to the headset (which has no active microphone), and use the phones internal microphone with sensitivity as in hands free, not as if the phone is by the ear…..the latter works, but is not very practical, so the connections are indeed working.

It seems to me, just a question of how to tweak the sensitivity of the mike up?
Please explain was I have missed.

Well, thank you….
however, the phone’s build in microphone does work while the phone streams bluetooth to the headset during a phone call, just not with a sensitivity that allows for true hands free, only usable with the microphone 1 to 2 inches from the mouth….
