Gallery still unable to recognise faces...

Hi,

I've seen a few posts already about this - my Gallery app used to identify faces in pictures and I could then associate them with contacts. Since sometime late last year, my S22+ stopped doing this, and now I've just got an S25+, and still have the same issue.

Is this a feature that has just been discontinued altogether? I'm sure this must be the case given that this functionality still doesn't work even on a launch day S25+.

Some troubleshooting that doesn't involve the typical "check software version", "update / factory reset phone" would be appreciated, as I've tried these already!

Mine still works in the search menu.

Yep same its in the search menu you can, but the function you mention which I like has gone, it is auto generated and only available option is to hide faces.
