HI, I have Amplifon hearing *****, my old phone wouldn't recognise these but my wifes A50s did and with the smartthings app we could connect bluetooth and I would have audio direct to my hearing *****.  So I upgraded my old phone to a new A22 5G, my hearing ***** are connected the Amplifon app works they are listed in bluetooth and smartthings but Im unable to connect to them and I cant get audio output direct to my hearing *****.  All the software is on the same major versions, minor differences possible due to model but I have noticed that on the A50s we can go to bluetooth and connect direct to the hearing ***** on the A22 we cannot, yet the Amplifon connects to the hearing ***** on both phones.  All I can thing is there is a difference in bluetooth on these phones, if any one can shed any light on this it would be appreciated as the only other option is to go to a phone shop and literally go thorough all there phones to find one that does work.

@shishski: Can you try heading to Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Enhancements > Hearing Aid Support, and follow the on screen instructions to see if this helps?

Thanks already tried it but no Hearing aid support there. The A50s has them as external bluetooth devices I expected the same on the A22

I was quoted this from Oticon Support. I also have an A22 5G.

"It seems your phone is not an ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aid) enabled phone.
Direct streaming to Android phones has just been possible since a 1.5/2 years ago when some Android phones producers started to implement the Audio Streaming for Hearing Aid (ASHA) standard on a selection of phones."
