Samsung Pay could be asking for the CVC security digits which are the 3 numbers on the back of a physical debit card @Baz89
For Curve I think these links may help advise and support you.

Hi @Baz89
I haven't owned a curve card so I can't comment on personal experience.
“ Your card's number, CVC and expiry date are securely stored in your Curve app under the “Account” tab. To access them you'll have to verify your identity either through biometric verification (such as Face ID) or by entering your passcode in-app. ”
And
https://community.curve.com/t/where-is-the-curve-card-cvv-number-for-online-transactions may help.

One of the posts in the 2nd link suggests the CVC is really light and needs to be looked at closely.

Might be me but that's looking a bit blurred when I look at your attachment @Baz89 😳
