Enabling voicemail notifications - Galaxy A02s

Hello,

     I have a Galaxy A02s and cannot figure out how to enable the app icon for my voicemail notifications. I can see missed call notifications but not if a voicemail has been left by the caller. I have tried everything, please help! Thank you all.

ok open dialler key pad or contact on the top right you see a 3 dots, click on it you then see setting , click on it , then scroll down you will see voice mail, click on it, you will see voice mail notifications, make sure it on .

by the way have you activate voice mail messages with you network provider yet?
