Why cant I access emails on my phone?worked fine until January update works perfectly on line so obviously software problem with samsung email app

Haven't seen any reports about this before. Try clearing system cache on your device, first. Next thing is remove and replace the account.

had to clear cache off each individual app however done it
then removed account ,wont let me sign back in allegedly wrong pass word or email ,both of which work fine on BT's website or pop 3 not switched on but surely must be as I can get into account on line

how do I clear system cache no mention of it in settings access denied when trying to access user manual

I use BT email and sometimes get the issue where only the browser works. Good old BT!

getting very frustrated now got as far as closing old account cant sign in again "can't verify account user name or password incorrect or pop3 not switched on " but it all works properly when I go to bt login page I'm thinking it must be a Samsung software problem

solved it, undid everything started from scratch and after alot of messing about it's all up and running
