Hey, I recently got a new phone and I can't access the chat settings on the messages app, its all greyed out. I have a new sim but I switched over to my old number. Any help?

In settings > connections > more connections settings. Do you have the option to turn on rich communications?

Some carriers doesn't support Rich messaging on some model and brand smartphones.
