Samsung messed up badly. Every now and then I switch from the Samsung app ecosystem to the Google app ecosystem. I have done it many times, but this time it was different. Samsung Messages is known to be problematic, same here. When I click the Chat Settings option, there should be a pop-up that asks Register for Chat service, you get 2 options to either continue or go back. I did not get that pop-up. I can not get that pop-up. Once I click Chat Settings, nothing happens. The orange dot stays there, no menu shows up, no nothing. I have tried all the troubleshooting methods that I know of, yet couldn't get it working. I tried to check maybe it was a device issue, opened Google Messages, and activated RCS without any issues. I contacted an expert in the Live Chat but couldn't fix it. Thank you in advance!

Im sure I heard RCS in Samsung Messages was no longer available. If you need to use that feature, then you have to use Google messages.

I'm with EE and chat features still work for me in Samsung messages. Think it depends on your network provider. Or I'm just waiting for EE to no longer support. 😔
