Hi.
Normally for android phones it is your Gmail account which is used as your default to set up the phone due to Google OS and services.
You also get to SetUp a Samsung account with your preferred email .
After setting up your phone you have the option of setting up a pin, swipe gesture or biometrics to unlock your phone.
