Hi @wendy01 , I've moved a couple of your posts into a topic of their own -- as they were off-topic where they were originally.
Generally speaking, if a number has been deactivated/not in service and you're trying to ring or message it, then it will tell you it's not active or in service. If it's just that calls are going through to voicemail, it's probably still an active number.
