Verify WhatsApp contact: Ensure that the contact you are trying to call through Google Assistant is a valid contact in your WhatsApp contact list. Make sure the contact's phone number is correctly saved in your phone's contacts with the country code and area code, if applicable.
Check Google Assistant settings: Verify that your Google Assistant is properly configured and has the necessary permissions to access your contacts and initiate WhatsApp calls. You can check the settings of your Google Assistant app on your device and make sure it has the necessary permissions enabled.
Update WhatsApp and Google Assistant: Make sure both your WhatsApp and Google Assistant apps are updated to the latest versions. Outdated versions of the apps may have compatibility issues that can cause errors.
Try different voice commands: Experiment with different voice commands while making the WhatsApp call through Google Assistant. For example, you can try saying "Hey Google, call [contact name] on WhatsApp" or "Hey Google, dial [contact name] using WhatsApp." Sometimes, the specific phrasing of the voice command can make a difference.
Restart your device: Sometimes, a simple restart of your device can help resolve temporary software glitches or conflicts that may be causing the issue. Try restarting your device and then attempt making the WhatsApp call through Google Assistant again.
Contact WhatsApp or Google support: If the issue persists, you may need to contact WhatsApp or Google support for further assistance. They may be able to provide specific guidance or solutions based on your device model, software version, and region.
Please note that WhatsApp and Google Assistant are separate apps developed by different companies, and any issues related to their functionalities or compatibility would require assistance from their respective support teams. It's always recommended to refer to the official support channels for accurate and up-to-date information on resolving any issues with these apps.

Hi,
Check out the solution given by User 9880336278150921548 in the Google Support thread.
Basically, you need to go to the Contacts app > Settings > About contacts > click on Contacts 9 times for the 3rd party apps menu to appear and then enable WhatsApp there. You should then be able to text and call contacts via WhatsApp.

Yeah same, enabled contacts hidden menu, but still unable to make whatsapp calls..
This need to be fixed asap, but the impression is samsung is pushing people to its services like bixby and samsung pay.
On galaxy watch they force mapped an hardware button to launch samsung pay without the possibility to remap that.
That's a very poor behaviuor from Samsung.

I have the same issue. It doesn't work on my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, but it works on my wife's Galaxy Watch 4.
