@Ahlroti: Please can you head to the Samsung Members app > Press and hold on the app icon > Diagnostics > Fingerprint recognition, and follow the on-screen prompts. Do you encounter any errors, or an 'Action required' notification in the summary?

If you are receiving a message on your Samsung Galaxy A52 that says "Fingerprint sensor needs to be calibrated" while trying to add fingerprints, here are some steps you can try to address the issue:

  1. Clean the fingerprint sensor: Make sure the fingerprint sensor on your Samsung Galaxy A52 is clean and free from any dirt, oil, or debris. Use a microfiber cloth or a screen cleaning solution to gently clean the sensor.

  2. Register fingerprints with clean, dry fingers: Ensure that your fingers are clean and dry when registering fingerprints on your Samsung Galaxy A52. Moisture, sweat, or residue on your fingers can affect the accuracy of the fingerprint sensor.

  3. Register fingerprints in different angles: When registering fingerprints, try placing your finger on the sensor at different angles to ensure that multiple angles of your fingerprint are captured. This can help improve the accuracy of the fingerprint sensor.

  4. Update your device software: Make sure your Samsung Galaxy A52 is running the latest software version. Software updates often contain bug fixes and improvements that can affect the performance of the fingerprint sensor.

  5. Reset fingerprint settings: If the issue persists, you can try resetting the fingerprint settings on your Samsung Galaxy A52. Go to Settings > Biometrics and security > Fingerprints > Reset fingerprints. This will remove all previously registered fingerprints, and you can re-register them again.

  6. Contact Samsung support: If the issue continues, you may need to contact Samsung support for further assistance. They may be able to provide specific guidance or solutions based on your device model and software version.

It's worth noting that fingerprint sensors can sometimes have limitations and may not work perfectly for everyone due to variations in individual fingerprints, skin condition, or environmental factors. If you continue to experience issues with the fingerprint sensor, you may also consider using alternative security methods such as a PIN, password, or pattern lock to unlock your device.

Tried this, but it works only for already registered fingerprints. My problem is I cannot get started with registering. My phone is brand new, updates up-to-date and clean as clean can be.
