Can't find video player

Hello. S23 Ultra (Android 14, One UI 6.1) user here. Can't find the Samsung video player app icon anywhere. It's installed on the phone and it's updated to the latest version. However, the icon is missing. It's not listed in settings/apps. 

You can only find it when you play a body file from the file manager

Doesn't turn up on the galaxy store either. Searched for it on the browser and found it. Tried to install and got an error message

Correct, you can play videos via file manager or use a 3rd party app.

The app was discontinued in January, but you can still download the apk from the web.

The app was discontinued video player is built in to the gallery Select video open 3 dots at top open in video player

Are you sure it safe to use .apk file from Random website? Hacker can just add malware code to any apk file.

I have the zfold 6 and this is the most frustrating thing. Hate that I have to scroll through gallery to find videos etc..
