Camera zoomed in - Whatapp

I have a Samsung A21s. My camera is fine but whenever I go the WhatsApp app, and use its camera, the image is zoomed in. BEFORE posting the pic, my image is zoomed and I cant zoom back out but when I take a picture and send, the image is then zoomed out and back to normal. How do I make my camera zoom out before posting the pic, so i can see it normally?

It's an app problem so you will need to contact WhatsApp for support. They seem aware of the issue

I'm the same I have an A21s and started searching through the Web
Make sure that your WhatsApp is a WhatsApp messenger not with a '(beta)' at the end
If its a normal version then wait for a while it should be fine after a few weeks.

same here with S9 , 2,5 years no problem at all and all of a sudden it changed.....

I have the same problem with my S9. After 2.5 years it happens al of a sudden and I can't get it fixed. Any solutions yet?

My A12 is the same started a few days ago July 2021. I have uninstalled / re installed but makes no difference 😕
