Camera application saving sound in motion photo

I recently updated the firmware on the Note 10+ 5G and now noticed that the motion photo that is saved with static photo is now recording sound. Anyone know if this is by design now? The version of Camera being used is 10.5.01.6

yes it was added with the one ui 2.5 update

I was just a little surprised as I wasn't expecting it.

Unfortunately another addition is that in the gallery the motion photos autoplay

I don't like the sound on the motion pictures. I don't need a cute motion picture of my dog with Dr Nowzarden talking in the background. Samsung should give the option of turning it off!

I agree. its very annoying that theres a sound and no option to disable it.

Agree, this is a huge privacy issue and will soon turn me towards another phone.
