I bought 2 " genuine " cables from Amazon, for fast charging , connected 1 to my S9 & the other to my Note 8 & switched both on. Neither phone displayed the message " Fast or Rapid Charging " despite being chosen in settings. 
Would welcome your comments, I'm thinking snide cables, but when following the link on Amazon, it brought me to this site, leaving me confused

If you purchased the cables direct from amazon they will be genuine Samsung cables, if you purchased from a reseller on amazon then there's a very high probability they are cheap generic cables.

I take it your power bricks are capable of fast charging?
