Really confused about our new washing machine and whether it is actually a huge downgrade.
We used to own a Series 5 machine WF80F5*****
We just bought a Series 6+ WW11BB534DAB.
The old machine had a "Daily Wash" which would wash any amount of clothes in 1 hr 5 mins.
The new machine does not seem to have an equivalent. The best I can find is "Cotton" which washes a full drum in about 3hrs 30 mins. That's three times longer! And unacceptably long for us.
The old machine had these settings.
The new machine has these settings.
Is there an equivalent to "Daily Wash"?
I also find the descriptions very confusing on the cycles for the new machine. For example
1. The "Cotton" cycle says "For cleaning lightly soiled cotton items at a nominal
temperature of 20 °C". Does this mean it never goes above 20 °C?
2. The "Eco 40-60" cycle says it is for clothes "declared to be washable at 40 °C or 60 °C". Does that mean it washes the clothes at 40°C or 60°C? If a shirt says "50" does this mean you cannot put it in this wash cycle?
It would appear that "Cotton" and "Eco 40-60" are the only two cycles that wash a full load. This cant be right? What happens if you do a full load on another cycle?

Hello there . Mixed Load would be the nearest and set to either 40'c or 60'c - its not designed to wash a full load , but then again nor wash the 'Daily Wash' on the older one really - even though you can of course (but you may not get good results washing a full load on a cycle designed to wash less items on a quicker wash with less water and less rinses)
