what logic/design/glitch is used when on every cotton wash of 60'c I start it off for 3 rinses on the WW90T534 and then after 'sensing load' it always changes the rinses down to 2 rinses automatically, does not matter if I have a full drum of washing up to 9Kg or even a smaller load. it always changes it down to 2 rinses and I then after sensing load have to change the rinses back up to 3 rinses for my washing to rinse properly (bear in mind that 2 rinses are not even 2 proper rinses with clean water , it will be 1 rinse with clean water and 1 rinse with fabric softener) can the designers not change this 'feature' in a firmware update of the washing machine seeing as its a smart machine (supposedly) and connected to the Internet/App.

Specifically on the 60 degree cotton cycle, this automatically adjusts the wash time and rinses dependent on the load itself. This information can be found on page 39 of your user manual below.
You may find the AI Wash cycle a better fit, as this detects the load and soil severity, rather than just the load, to ensure the appropriate cycles and rinses are applied to your washing.

I have the very basic entry level WW90T534DAW Samsung series 5 washing machine. Although I cannot be 100% sure I will say that my feature does not have in it a Turbidity sensor anywhere in this model to detect soil severity or how dirty the wash is and adjust wash times / rinses by this sensor - nope all it would do is weigh the clothes in the drum at the start of the wash to affect the amount of water needed and how much detergent to add from the auto-dose dispenser and adjust wash time according to weight of the load in the drum.
no, from what I can see the only Samsung washing machines with this Turbidity sensor for sensing how dirty the clothes are/ adjusting the rinses if there is still too much detergent left in the clothes are the much dear models of Samsung washing machines like the Bespoke range which cost over 800 / 1000 pounds. mine only cost around 500euro's
So unless , and this is a possibility that could have happened, they have a vanilla same firmware for machines with the extra Turbidity sensor as the other ones without to save costs , that mine is more than likely loaded with the firmware for a machine with Turbidity sensor for Ai detecting the soil of the wash at the factory , but that the Turbidity sensor was not fitted at the factory on the wash drum on these budget entry level models. - thats what i think anyway.

We are sorry for the confusion there, @andy_in_ireland, you are quite right. The cotton cycle only goes off the weight of the load and adjusts accordingly. The AI wash wouldn't be applicable to your model, and it's this cycle that utilises the turbidity sensor.

Thank you for confirming that - our model still has AI wash show up in the display window, but its more for that it remembers what washes you use the most I think rather than the AI wash on the more expensive models with a turbidity sensor.
