Tumble dryer thumping sound

My tumble dryer is making a thumping sound each time it spins? Any ideas?

Could be out of balance... ie one of the weights has come loose

if it is of a design that it has 2 rubber wheels at the lower drum at the front, these can perish / wear down and need replacing , until they are the drum can thump as it revolves
