Switching to wool detergent

Does anyone know if I can do a wool wash by just adding my wool detergent into the manual tray or do I have to empty and clean and refill the? whole detergent dispenser

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community. You can usually add your wool detergent directly into the manual tray without having to empty and clean the whole detergent dispenser. add to the manual middle compartment but also double check that on the wash cycle that autodose is disabled for that wash cycle you have chose - 

wait until any weighing detection and pumping out before wash is over with or you could waste the dose of wool detergent you put in . wait for the machine to start filling with water , then 'pause' the wash cycle, open the soap drawer, add the wool detergent to the middle compartment, then close the detergent drawer, and un- pause the machine
