I'm wondering what the expected durability should be for Samsung microwaves. How long are does Samsung expect them to work for. I'm disgruntled that after 2 years and 10 months, it's no longer microwaving. Samsung support aren't interested as it's out of warranty. Such a waste of nearly £400 and not good for the environment. I'm also restricted by size as it's integrated and my dinner plates don't fit in some of the others. Another waste having to buy another dinner as thats what it's looking like when I replace it with an AEG.

@Sandiwar: I appreciate that this must have come as a disappointment. While our standard warranty for microwaves runs for 12 months from the initial purchase date, it is still possible to arrange a chargeable, out of warranty repair. I'd certainly recommend exploring this as an option, as it should save on the cost of purchasing a new model, and avoid any of the inconveniences of finding an alternative to accommodate your plates and cookware.
With the above in mind, I recommend getting back in touch with our Support Team by heading to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the screen > Contact us, and reach out via your preferred contact method, and an advisor will be on hand to assist you further.
You can also book the inspection yourself on our website via the link below, however please be aware that it is currently offline for essential maintenance.

I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Thanks Andrew. I've already exhausted these avenues, Samsung support aren't willing to help. I've contacted Samsung authorised repairs who were helpful but wanted to charge £99 to assess plus any parts and as they don't know what is wrong with it, this could increase exponentially. They intimated that it might be worthwhile getting a new one, which is such a waste.
Caught between a rock and a hard place, buy another short-living Samsung or buy an AEG and new plates.
Thanks again
