Guess what ? The start button doesn’t work, which means the microwave is rendered useless. It was purchased in May 2022, so therefore is just out of warranty. This particular item cost me £190 and I thought it would at least last longer then 18 months. I have searched online and it seems this is a common fault.
What it needs is a new motherboard at the cost of £85 and that’s if I fit it. I’m just so surprised of the Samsung quality in this regard. I have a big Samsung American style, fridge, freezer, three TVs ,cooker hob,sound bar, so as you can see I like being part of the Samsung family. I have been offered a 10% discount on a new one, but will this new one last? Any suggestions of what I should do this microwave? do I bin it? Should I look for a secondhand control panel. Any suggestions would be useful .
