How to silence the jingles / tunes on a washer

Hi there just taken delivery of a WW90TA046AE. The instructions say I can turn sounds off with a combination of 2 buttons. I do this and get an icon showing a red bell with a line through it. However turning on / off and I still get that pointless,  annoying jingle. How do I turn off all sounds?

@JohnFol1: Pressing the Spin and Options buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds will mute all sounds, with the exception of the On/Off button. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.

This still appears current. New washer delivered today and I can't mute the sounds using the two buttons suggested. Any other ideas?
