EcoBubble WD80N645OOw dryer stops after exactly 15 minutes

Our dryer suddenly started exhibiting this behaviour, where it would stop working and shut down after exactly 15 minutes of operation. 

The washer works perfectly fine and finishes all cycles, but the dryer never reaches a cycle's completion.

A technician came over, replaced a heating element (I believe) and made sure all the vents are clear, and the issue went away for about a month, until it resurfaced.

I know a similar issue has been reported in this forum in the past (e.g.:

Did you manage to fix this?

I have a WD90N645OOX with the same issue. Stops after 15 minutes and is stone cold.

I replaced the DC47-00016B themostat today but nothing changed. Looking to replace the DC47-00016C thermostat tomorrow to see is that will work. If not I'll have to try replacing the whole heating duct (DC93-00764A).

Swapped out the DC47-00016C washer dryer thermostat (PBR380) and it's now heating again. Thermostat costs about £14 from eSpares.co.uk. Will check for any lint in the white fan part too before I put the top casing back on.

I wasn't able to fix this yet, but I'll try replacing the said thermostat.

Do you happen to have a video/article on how to replace this part?

So it worked and then the thermostat fuse has blown again which means my particular problem seems to be something else which is causing overheating and blowing the thermostat. I'll have try changing the whole assy duct now (https://shop.digicare.co.uk/products/dc93-00764a-assy-duct-scroll-for-samsung-washing-machine).

In regards to changing the PBR380 thermostat. It's requires 4 screws being undone which Samsung would advise be done by a professional.
