Could use some advice with my washing machine Samsung WD10N84GNOA/EU

It suddenly stopped using Auto softener and there is an indicator that is lit above it that I have not seen before

I tried cleaning and changing softener but no luck

Any tips?

Here is a picture of the indicator, it stays on all the time. I am guessing it has something to do with the softener?
