Auto dose washing machine

Hi all hope you're well Just had mine replaced under warranty (under a year old) 

The auto dispenser bit stopped giving out softener is this a common issue with Samsung Machines?

i noticed the softener one does get rather yucky after a while (softner valve is on the left in the pic) 


I am just wondering if the issue is using these 'concentrated' Fabric softeners and that they are so thick they may need diluting with water before adding the softener to the autodose fabric softener compartment just to thin the viscosity of the liquid out and make it easier for the autodose pump system to pump out.  - plus the other advantage is if you dilute the concentrated fabric softener down the fabric softener will last even longer!
