Build-in Alexa is missing on Samsung Family Hub RS90F66BEFEO.
I know it sounds strange, but the only reason I bought it was the built-in Alexa. However, the problem is—it doesn’t exist.
It’s not in the settings, nor in the “Available apps.” In fact, the only available app apart from the pre-installed ones is “Demo Retail Mode.” No Ring, no Alexa, nothing. Am I missing something or the latest fridges lack the functionalities that older ones have?
This feels very unprofessional and misleading towards customers, considering all the online information and articles.

@Momcho: I have looked into this for you, and this model was not advertised with Alexa built in. It does have Bixby integration, which provides a similar experience in terms of voice control. To find out more, please take a look at page 64 of the user manual via the link below.

Thank you very much for your response. Unfortunately, I cannot agree that this is correct.
I also haven’t seen a Samsung refrigerator explicitly advertised with Alexa integration (whole Family Hub is being advertised with it...). It makes it somewhat difficult to understand what exactly one is purchasing - almost as if it were from a generic shady online marketplace, rather than a refrigerator costing €2000+.
Take a look RS6HA8891B1/EF for example. Does it have Alexa? - yes saw it on friend's fridge. Is it advertised somewhere like this on product page - no.
Or RS27T5561SG/AA - Does it have Alexa? - yes. Can you find "Alexa" in the product page: NO.
I would like to draw your attention to this page: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062803/
In particular, the sentence:
"Alexa comes built-in on Family Hub! So, you can take a break from using Bixby and switch to Alexa whenever you want to. To begin, just say “Alexa” and then state your desired command. Here are some frequently used commands:"
Is the model "Family Hub" ? - YES
Does it have Alexa, which I can activate by just saying "Alexa"? - NO
Here another example of a "Samsung Care" YouTube video:
"Talk to Bixby and Alexa on your Family Hub refrigerator With virtual assistants like Bixby and Alexa, you can talk to your fridge and it will be actually listen! All you have to do is speak a command, and your preferred virtual assistant will be at your service. You can say things like, “Hi, Bixby. Show me recipes for chicken parmesan,” or you can tell Alexa to play your favorites in Amazon Music. Just make sure you’ve set up your virtual assistant(s), your fridge is connected to Wi-Fi, and that the microphone is turned on."
Is it a fridge - YES
Is it Samsung - YES
Is it Family Hub - YES
Is it connected to WiFi and Microphone is turned on? - YES
All requirements from support articles and videos satisfied? - YES
Can Alexa play my favorites in Amazon Music? - NO
Are any noted exceptions for models, anywhere? - NO
I can provide you 10+ more official articles and videos from all around the world claiming - "If your fridge is Family Hub, you can switch to Alexa".
The real question is this: Are there any plans for Alexa support on this model as noted in the article above and dozen of videos and articles? Thanks.
As for Bixby, I’d prefer not to comment, since I don’t believe the two can be compared in any way. Having 15+ Alexas in my home with 6+ skills in 4 ecosystems (which btw, Smart Things do not support) will make me change the fridge, not the Alexas. Also can specify all of the things that not nearly to "similar experience", but I guess you are familiar with it.
Additionally, I’ve never seen anyone read a manual before purchasing a product - the manual comes with the product for a reason. If the idea is to get familiar with Bixby... It does not help me 😞
