5 Year Warranty - What is Covered (Washing Machine)

Our WW80J5555FA/EU washing machine has developed the "intermittent pause/stop" issue. The engineer advised me that it will need a replacement PCB.

Samsung UK have told the repair company that this isn't covered under the warranty, only mechanical parts.

Can someone advise if this is the case? Already paid £78 callout charge and now waiting on a PCB price which is likely to be in the region of £200 (apparently).

We've had it since March 2019.

i think its only the motor (if its a digital inverter motor) that is guaranteed for5 years everything else (parts & labour) is about a 1 or 2 year warranty I think. although i could be wrong
