Prior to a previous post discussing the true black not working properly, I thought I'd update it to say there was a screen overlay issue that was causing the pixels to always emit light. Hence, my issue has been sorted after finding the problem a few days ago from an app I had installed, and I'm back to full potential. Just to clarify, it was my fault, not the device's fault.

Thank You for posting this 🙏

Glad you have managed to sort out your issue.

We always get posts about something not working properly or I am moving to a fruit company 😂.

So your post is a breath of fresh Air. 😊

Please keep coming back and helping others with your experience on the Zflip6 .

I have found it to be an interesting little phone.

I have no shame in admitting when a fault is my own. Plus, as you said, if it helps others, then that's what the forum is here for. I did make another error in my post, as I put 'Flip' instead of 'Fold.' 😊 Thanks for your comment! Your own tech reviews and tips are a service as well, so thank you!

I started browsing the forums a lot, trying to help people and learn, etc. I'm finding it harder to do now with the way work has been recently, which is unfortunate.

Hey @AustinMc

Good to hear you've sorted this.

Can you mention which app was causing this.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

It was an old app, I assume from when I transferred data or restored a backup, that was used to force dark mode. I'm not sure why it was active, though, as I haven't used an app like that since I discovered the developer options a few years back. It may have been active on some of my older phones, but having the larger screen on the Fold probably made it a lot more noticeable because of the big black areas. Luckily, I decided to do a cleanout and noticed it, as the Fold's app screen was a bit all over the place compared to the front screen.

The only thing I can't work out is why the app needed an overlay to do that or why it started automatically on boot, but I guess that's the problem with sideloaded APKs.
