Z Fold4 Warranty and Care+

I've been offered a Z Fold4 which was purchased via Vodafone, and came with 2 years Care+ and full 2 year warranty.

What I wanted to check is if the Care+ is registered to the phone or the buyer? If the original buyer provides me with receipt / proof of purchase would the warranty and Care+ be usable by me (should it need to be)?

Reading through the terms and conditions of the Vodafone Care Plus it would appear that it is linked to the Vodafone account holder. See, here...

Ah, yeah, maybe he meant Vodafone Care Plus. I'm not bothered about that, it's just for loss, theft, and accidental damage anyway, and that's all covered by my home contents insurance.

From looking deeper it seems like the Samsung warranty is connected to the phone IMEI, so with that and the purchase receipt I should be able to claim from Samsung if any problems with the phone pop up - although there have been a few comments here and there that you wouldn't really need the receipt, which makes sense. I mean, what if the phone was a gift, for example?). I think, at least!

The original purchaser may have already registered the devices IMEI and serial numbers in their name.
