Hello @AlphaHotel
I totally understand and appreciate your viewpoint.
I'm not an authorised Samsung Service Enginner and nor do I fix phone's, so it wouldn't be appropriate for me to comment on what goes into resolving this issue, the parts costing or engineers time.
Personally I have my phone's covered under my Home Contents Insurance.
Samsung applyba limited 2 year manufacturer's warranty that covers non accidental damage, and offer Samsung Care+
I see your phone is 3 years old hence the fee for out of warranty repairs.
These types of phone's are niche which i expect are not easy or inexpensive to repair.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

The math ain't 'mathing' that's just pure greed .
I now have an expensive brick sitting on my shelf because £20 flex cable issue which is a flaw in its design, meanwhile samsung trying to charge a rate of more than £600 to fix a 3 year old device lol 😠.
I've seen warranty get voided cause of a hairline scratch any excuse not to honour pledges these days and complete unaccountability from the company.
