Z fold 3 no sound when you unfold the phone

Whats happening with samsung updates ?

1 month ago after the update my camera stability was ***** ,now after i did the latest update i can't watch or listen any video on the big screen as it has no sound...WTF samsung ?

If you doin this updates to ruin the phone and make us update a 1700£ phone to a new one do some ***** big changes dont behave like Iphone.

Do a pen slot on the folds and if not until than fix this ***** issues with your updates...

Last 2 updates have the worst s****iest software updates.

How can use the inner screen without sound you ****s ?

Same problem. Phone was working perfectly until I updated it. Does anyone have a fix yet?

No resolution so far, totally beleive it is a software issue, 

I'm ditching samsung switching to a more decent company

It's 100% a software issue. I was watching YouTube on inner screen and had delayed software update, it kept popping up as a reminder, so I paused YouTube and updated whilst making a cuppa.

Once I restarted I now have no sound on inner screen. There is literally nothing else it could be caused by except the software as the phone didn't move.

I pay for YouTube premium as watch a lot and only have this phone due to the inner screen. So having paid off and bought my phone outright, I now have a large useless screen and a monthly charge for YouTube I can't really use effectively.

Having the same problem. Samsung service centre asked me to replace the LCD screen which cost Rm 2100(usd500) with 3 months warranty.  I may as well buy a new phone!

I believe it is a software issue too. Once update,  no sound on front and center, reboot and power off many times to get the sound back. But the big screen is still no sound.

Do NOT buy the fold series - very bad experience - lots of issues on day to day tasks. and after 18 months hardware issues with inner screen - with just one solution - change the screen...

After I updated Samsung z fold 3 in June of this year my phone has no sound when open. Sound only comes out 90 degrees closed. The outer smaller screen when closed its audio gradually distorted. I feel like Samsung could have fixed this widespread problem after their software update with the fold 3/4 but they ignored us. It’s like being stabbed in the back😒

It started like this until I lost sound completely, when it is folded and when it is not, and then started using Bluetooth headset for my calls and media..., afterwards I was afraid to unfold it, which might cause to lose my screen, or worse my data at until it came back by itself after a while.

Now I'm just waiting for my other phone to put this to rest.
