I recently upgraded my Galaxy Z Fold 4 to One UI 7.0, and since the update, I have encountered a critical issue with the main foldable screen.
Upon unfolding the device, a brief static sound is emitted, followed by the main screen turning completely black. After this occurs, even switching back to the front (cover) screen does not restore functionality. The device becomes unresponsive, and I am only able to regain access by performing a forced restart using the Power + Volume Down button. I had tried to factory reset my phone and still I have the same issue.
This issue has significantly impacted the usability of the device, and I kindly request your immediate assistance in resolving this matter.

Similar issue here. I updated my Flip 4 yesterday and since then the battery has been draining rapidly and the phone turns itself off when I fold it. It only stays on when open now.
Not to mention the horrible user interface this update has brought ...
If anyone has found a solution for these issues ...

Got same kind of problem since the update, black screen when i open my Flip 4 during 1 to 3 minutes. Can't tell for battery issue, i've just update it a few hours ago.

Same again, following the upgrade to 7.0. It becomes quite stressful as l rely on my phone for train tickets etc, and to have the uncertainty of whether l'll be able to easily access these without having an unresponsive screen is far from ideal

Exactly same issue here although the screen was faulty but that's already been replaced by samsung

Ditto. I updated to 7 yesterday, and my screen just won't come on after unfolding it. But then suddenly comes back, outta nowhere lying still. I've got to use it unfolded until they fix it with an update.
