Z flip 5 Main Screen not working

Hey,

For approximately 2-3 weeks, I have been experiencing an issue with my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. The main screen occasionally stops working, causing the phone to freeze completely. Sometimes it recovers within 10 minutes, while other times it takes 30-40 minutes. The screen displays the message "Main screen not working," and the phone becomes unresponsive. What could be the cause of this problem?

I have experienced this on my ZFOLD3 and ZFOLD4, but not on the ZFLIP3, ZLIP4 or ZFLIP5, but best to get it back to Samsung for repair.

In my case with the ZFOLD it was a main board, connector issue.

@Members_ipLTXUa please contact Samsung directly for help on this. 

May I assune the phone and display shows no impact damage i.e accidental damage. 

You'll be able to send the phone directly to Samsung ,or use a Samsung Service Centre. 

If you opt to send the phone away then do package it really well, and send it with adequate in-transit insurance. 

Take time and date stamped photos with one of the water indicator which is usually found just inside the sim card slot [ if it's there on this phone 

This is to show it's aesthetic condition as it leaves your possession. 

Some areas have the option of a Samsung Doorstep repair option.

Presumably, a design defect.  Examine the plethora of complaints on the internet about the Z Flip phones.  You'd think it is cousin of the Tesla CyberTruck.

?!?  What are you going to use for a phone if/while it's being repaired?  I pay  Asurion for "insurance" which translates into a $99 deductible, $100 for retrieval and erasure (only a fool returns a phone not yet wiped), and countless hours dealing with reinstallation of files and passwords.

PS:  I just made my post-replacement claim.  In all fairness, I've read of at least one good result using this process and Asurion and Verizon never hinted to this route (which is their, not Samsung's, faults).
