Hi,

I have been using flip 4 phone for about 1.5 years . Recently my phone suddenly started displaying green screen or pink/green combination screen when turning it on , also the phone won't charge when it is unflipped , the upper half suddenly becomes too hot . From past 2 days , rather than seeing green screen or pink/green screen the screen is slightly dimming down and eventually turning black but in the background phone is still on and I can hear if any video is playing, I can also touch and feel that it works. Is anyone facing similar issues?

Have you tried resetting your phone and scanning your phone to make sure it's in good conditions

I did not do a hard reset yet(my last option if I really have to do it), I tried other options like trying to turn on safe mode and check but no luck .Also I did a screen test and it passed the test.

Okay...looks like that's my only option now. I'll try it out and see if it works.

Hi @S_tush

I'm sorry to hear your experiencing these issues with your phone 😔

Do ensure your charging port is clear of debris in regards to the issues with charging.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/galaxy-battery/charging-tips.

Usb reset.
Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines with the downward facing arrow, to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Scroll down, and tap on 'USBSettings' > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device.

In regards to the other issues you could try these generic troubleshooting steps >

And Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

However it maybe the case that a Samsung Service Centre needs to have hands on.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎
