WiFi issues since updating to one UI 5.1.1

Has anyone been getting issues with their WiFi since updating to One UI 5.1.1?
WiFi connection is not intermittent more often then not it doesn't find any nearby networks and when it eventually does connection only lasts for few moments before disconnecting again.

Phone: Fold 4
Update date: 05/09/23

I have restarted the phone numerous times. Turned on/off Bluetooth. Turned on/off airplane mode....

If anyone knows a fix or can suggest next steps will be much appreciated.

Juz got an upgraded to 5.1.1 and my fold 4 flipped bigger screen turned black screen. Got to restart to recover.

I got the same problem with my fold 4. Contacted custom service in singpaore nothing much can be done. Did phone reset and wipe cache non work. Why is samsung not testing their software be releasing. So frustrated. Never gotten buy so expensive filp phone again.

Hello,

Looks like One UI 5.1.1 it is not able to properly authenticate on WiFi with higher security like WPA3. In my case I had the same issues with WiFi after updating to One UI 5.1.1 and the only way to make it work was to define a new WiFi network SSID in WiFi router with security based on WPA2-AES. I have switched the Samsung tablet to this new SSID and worked fine since then.

You may try this and see if it works for you.

The encryption below doesn't work for my Samsung tablet + One UI 5.1.1

Thanks. My issue is resolved now. I sent my phone back to Samsung they did some.sort of repair and its been working fine since

I did a software refresh on Weds and since then wifi has been cut off and its using my data. This is not acceptable and I will be billing samsung directly as this is now an issue affecting many people. Samsung you need to respond otherwise social media will have a serious impact on your brand and potential loss of customers

I am having wifi issues with my phone. Absolutely ridiculous. Should a company as big as Samsung not just push for a fix why do we have to send our phones to Samsung for this especially when we need our phones at every step of our lives

im having the same issues

started with the wifi going out - now my open inner screen stopped responding at all to any swipe and the phone getting hot 

only the outer folded screen responds

what is the fix?

I'm having sane issues on my fold 3, when try turn wi fi it says turning on but no networks show . My WiFi works fine other users and devices appear OK. Tried safe mode reseting networks settings Nothing. Power's ingredients not on. Short of factory resetting which according so w members is absolute lot thing to try. Anybord
any ideas what the issue is? Running android 14 6.0 One UI
